The following files must be added to the directory which contains your source text files (*.txt):
----Start of File---- man [m001] boy [m001] he [m002] him [m002] his [m002] male [m001] woman [f001] girl [f001] she [f002] her [f002] female [f001] ----End of File----
When a file is selected to be opened, the file is processed with the "words.lst" to encoded all the words that match the words contained in the "words.lst". The encoded file is then displayed to the user with all words in the file that match a word in the "words.lst" highlighted with the associated code in colors.
Review accuracy of encoded words and make any coding changes, due to the contextual meaning of the "word". You may use up to 9 different coders to accomplish this review. When the program is started, the coder will click on their coder number, and then click "Yes-Continue". This will switch the main panel to the "Text" panel, the right panel to the "Control" panel, and enable the "File" menu. Click on "File" and select either "Open" to code a file, or "ReOpen" to update the coding, for this coder, of a file that was previously coded by this coder. "Open" is selected when the coder has not previously viewed this file.
To save the encoding and/or coding changes click on "File" and "Save". "ReOpen" is selected to continue working on a file that the coder has previously opened. The encoded file, with and coder changes, is saved as the the filename of the text file with the extension changed to cdn where the n is the number of the coder. For example, if coder 6 is working with a file named "subject3.txt" then when the file is saved it will be saved as "subject3.cd6".
To exit the program click on "File" and "Exit".
To save a copy of the encoded and/or coding changes file in HTML, so that it may be printed using your web browser, click on "File" and "SaveasHtmlFile". You will then select a file name for the html file, and click "Open". This html file may be sent via email to allow others to view the coding.
